In between all the meaningful Yom Tov meals and time indoors, Chol Hamoed is a great time to get fresh air and enjoy fun physical activities together with family.

Lucy the Elephant
Details: A state and national landmark, this six-story high structure makes a novel and unique visit with great views.

Allaire Community Farm
Details: A lovely 25-acre farm and petting zoo with rescued animals. Barrel-train ride available on weekdays-extra $2, pony rides available on weekends-extra $5.

Jenkinson’s Boardwalk and Aquarium

Popcorn Park Zoo
Details: A family-oriented zoo that was established to provide a refuge for wildlife that were sick, elderly, abandoned, abused, or injured and could no longer survive in their natural habitats, the zoo now also includes exotic and domestic animals. Feeding of animals in the zoo is not allowed due to the animals’ specialized diets; however, air-popped popcorn may be purchased to feed free-roaming birds and some of the farm animals.

Turtle Back Zoo
Details: Large, beautiful zoo features many animals from various regions, plus extra activities. Playground and train ride are included in admission, closed until March 31. Mini golf, pony rides, carousel, and others cost extra.
