Stuffed Onion Burgers

Everyone loves a good burger. But what happens when it’s stuffed?
It’s next-level juicy, flavorful, and fun to eat.
Yield: 6 Burgers
Ingredients:
Onion Filling
1 large Spanish onion, diced
1 tablespoon oil
Burgers
2 lb. ground beef
Coarse sea salt to taste
Coarse ground black pepper to taste
½ teaspoon cumin
Directions:
Sauté onions on medium-low
heat for about 20–25 minutes,
stirring frequently until they are
caramelized.
Set aside to cool.
Mix all burger ingredients in a
bowl.
Shape the into very flat patties.
Place a teaspoon of the onion
mixture in the middle of each
patty.
Fold over the sides of the patty
to enclose the onions inside the
burger.
Sprinkle spices on top of
burgers.
Grill on medium-high heat for
6 minutes per side for well done
or 4 minutes per side for
medium.
