Hot Mochacchino with Whip

I take the minhag of having something warm on Motza’ei Shabbos very seriously. Every week after I clean up, I sit down with a hot coffee and some chocolate or cake. Sometimes I make an upgraded version like the one below.
Yield: 6 servings
Ingredients:
6 cups milk
3 tablespoons coffee or to taste
1 teaspoon vanilla
1½ bars good-quality milk chocolate, chopped
Ready-made dairy whipped cream, for serving
Directions:
In a large pot over medium heat, heat milk until just before boiling.
Add coffee and vanilla.
Divide chocolate among 6 8-oz. cups, leaving some for topping.
Pour hot milk mixture over chocolate.
Stir until chocolate is fully melted.
Top with whipped cream.
Sprinkle remaining chopped chocolate on top.
