Mini Pita Arayes

These are go-tos in my house on busy days—they take me only a few minutes to prepare and are enjoyed by all.

 

Ingredients:

1 lb. ground beef

1 small onion, minced

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 shake dried parsley

Dash of cumin

Dash of allspice

Salt to taste

Black pepper to taste

6 pitas

Olive oil for smearing

 

Directions:

Mix meat, onion, and spices together.

Cut pitas in half and fill with meat mixture, then cut them again so pitas are quartered.

Brush all sides of pitas with olive oil.

Bake uncovered at 400°F for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through cooking time.
