Mushroom Wontons

Bursting with unbelievable flavor, don’t be surprised if these wontons get eaten up before they get to the table!

Yield: 45 wontons


2 tablespoons oil plus more for frying

2 medium onions, minced

1 10-oz. container white mushrooms, minced

2 teaspoons duck sauce

2 teaspoons barbecue sauce

1 teaspoon garlic powder

45 round wontons


In a frying pan, heat 2 teaspoons oil. Add onions and mushrooms and sauté until browned.

Add duck sauce, barbecue sauce, and garlic powder and mix.

Place ½ teaspoon of the mushroom mixture in the center of each wonton. Wet the edges with water and fold over tightly. Seal shut using the water as a glue.

Fry until golden. Alternatively, spray with oil spray and bake at 400°F for 20 minutes.
