Pull-Apart Cheesy Dreidel

December 8, 2022

Very rarely do I say that the store-bought version its better. But in this case, I tried the recipe with homemade pizza dough and store-bought frozen dough, and I have to admit the store-bought one is better.

Yield: 4–6 servings

Ingredients:

1 store-bought pizza dough

1 cup finely shredded cheese

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 teaspoons parsley

1 teaspoon dried onion or garlic, chopped

1 tablespoon Parmesan cheese

Marinara sauce for dipping

Directions:

Divide dough into 17 balls.

Take a ball and flatten in your hand. Stuff with some shredded cheese and pinch closed by folding over the sides.

Flip over and place on a baking sheet, seam-side down. Repeat with remaining balls to form the shape of a dreidel.

Brush with olive oil and sprinkle on parsley and chopped onion.

Bake at 400°F for 20 minutes.

Top with more parsley and Parmesan cheese.

Serve alongside marinara sauce.

Tip: This can be made in advance and frozen.
