Spicy Salmon Sushi Bake

This is an easy and perfect way to enjoy your favorite spicy salmon roll without the fuss of rolling.

Yield: 6 servings

 

Ingredients:

3 cups cooked sushi rice

1 lb. skinned salmon, cubed

1 teaspoon salt

2 tablespoons maple syrup

½ cup mayonnaise

2 tablespoons sriracha

1 tablespoon soy sauce

½ tablespoon sesame oil

Toasted nori sheets, sliced into strips

 

Toppings

Sesame seeds

Scallions

Sliced avocado

Sliced cucumber

Sliced jalapeño

Spicy mayo

Sweet sauce

 

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375°F.

Season salmon with salt and cook on a baking sheet for 12–15 minutes.

Let cool.

Mix maple syrup, mayo, sriracha, soy sauce, and sesame oil in a large bowl.

Add cooked salmon and mix until evenly coated.

Layer rice in a baking dish.

Add salmon evenly over rice.

Bake for 10–12 minutes.

Top with nori strips.

Add desired toppings.

Drizzle with spicy mayo, sweet sauce, or favorite sushi toppings.
