Looking for a healthy mishlo’ach manos idea? Look no further. These healthier caramel chews are tasty and oh, so cute! These individually wrapped candies can be packaged in a paper cylinder tube with a personalized label and bow. An adorable and healthy mishlo’ach manos all your friends will be raving about.

Yield: 18–20 wrapped candies

Ingredients:

12–13 large, soft Medjool dates

2 teaspoons hazelnut butter (almond butter works too)

½ teaspoon cinnamon

¼ teaspoon vanilla extract

Parchment paper, cut into 4×4-inch squares

Directions:

Place dates in a high-powered food processor fitted with the S-blade or a very good blender. Blend until dates start becoming a paste.

Add rest of ingredients and blend until a smooth paste/dough forms.

You may need to stop the machine and scrape the edges a few times.

Once dough is ready, using gloves and a drop of water on hands if needed, place ½ tablespoon in the center of each parchment square.

Remove gloves and roll parchment paper around each candy, twisting the ends to form a wrapped candy.

Store in the freezer until ready to deliver.

Candies can be enjoyed straight from the freezer or defrosted.
